Hi,

I just want to give you an update.

It has been more than 30 day, I have not yet received 30 day status letter from CBA. I called and was told that CBA is running behind on schedules due to holiday season…etc. They are now up to 12.10.12. Mine is 12.18.12, I guess I have to wait for at least another 2 – 3 weeks… Stay calm……!!! Counting 1 -10 …!!!

I sent my application package in to the CBA on 3/12. It honestly feels lika a long time since I sent it in but I guess it has only really been 3 weeks. Weren't we supposed to receive some kind of “hey we received your application” postcard notification? I thought we were supposed to get this before the 30 day status letter. I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet and I'm getting antsy.

I was wondering what your entire licensing timeline was like…and when you received the various notifications. How long did it take for you to get your license? Should I call in to check or is it still early?

Congrats on passing the exam.

Hold your breath, it will be a long process. you should allow 10-14 weeks for the whole process to complete.

My case:

– 5 week from the day they cashed the check that I received the 30 day letter

– 12.18.12 (Application Submitted) – 02.25.13 (name showed up in license look up), 3 weeks later I received pocket card. Now as of 04.02.13 I have not received my wall certificate ( I emailed them yesterday and will see what happen)

Wow…I can't believe that you are still waiting for your wall certificate almost 4 months later. I guess I just have to be patient.

I sent them email asking why I have not received my wall certificate?. Guess what i found out, they had my address wrong and it got returned back to them but no one told me anything. I had to contact them then they found out. The whole process is delayed due to the holiday season as well SIGH…!!! it is very fraustrating….!!!

Honestly, I am not very impressed with their attentiont to details. They really screwed my case. Firstly, they spelled my name wrong in the license lookup after an usual long wait. I caught an error and brought to their attention. Secondly, I received my pocket card with the name spelled wrong too. Thirdly, they sent my wall certificate to the wrong address. When I receive my wall certificate (hopefully very soon), I hope my name is spelled correctly.

Ok, I'm glad I'm not the only one frustrated with CBA. They were so helpful with questions during the exam and application process, but now when it comes to processing my application, so sloooow.

I sent my packet certified mail and it was received on March 14, 2013. The application check finally cleared TODAY. The check was endorsed on March 14 though, weird. I guess this means I won't get my 30 day letter until May.

And I still have received the postcard saying they have received my application. I'm glad I sent it certified mail to know it was received, otherwise I would be worrying this whole time!

@ CPA88888 – OMG! That is awful! I'm a little shocked to find this out because like what DesperatelySeekingChupacabra said, I had very fast and efficient service from the CBA when I was in the exam phase of this process. I guess they're more responsive at that stage because they're busy sucking down all your money (especially if you had lots of re-takes like I did). Now that we're near the end of the journey…we're no longer priority?

CBA is very good at reponding to your inquries from my experience. Just the actual work that they are performing ,somehow I am not impressed.

I'm guessing the CBA runs like any other organization. The exam and licensing units are separate. And if I may be so bold, I bet the management in one unit far exceeds that in the other.

Thank you all for posting this information though. I'll be sure to send my packet certified, especially because I am really trying to get everything done and submitted in 2013.
