Hello folks, my story is like this….I am currently residing and working in a public accounting firm as a tax consultant in New York. Because of the educational requirment, I applied for the CPA of New Hampshire(new hampshire doesn’t have the 150 credits rule) instead of New York. My question is that, after I pass all the exams (I’m taking the exams in New York), can I terminate the NH licensing process and use the CPA exam scores to apply for New York license (i definitely will have to take a few more classes..)? Or I will have to continue the licensing process for New Hampshire and later switch a New Hampshire license to a New York license? I am very confused about this….Please help!n
