Hello everyone!

Can someone help me on a question I have regarding CPE Credits regarding IL? I have tried to contact the IL state board but it is just so hard to get a hold of them.

I’m a CPA from IL and my CPE credits are due 9-30-21. This means I need 120 credit hours by 9-30-21. I use Becker CPE for all of my self-study hours. However, in Becker, I can track my IL Compliance and it shows that I have earned 121.50 credits but only 120 credits were required. Does this mean I am OK? Did I satisfy the IL CPE requirements?

The reason I ask this is because Becker’s Compliance (the tracking program) is showing I have a credit deficiency in the “sexual harassment training” AND it is showing that I am STILL 7 credits deficient overall? But how? I have 121.50 credits right now (which is above the 120 credit hours). I am starting to wonder do I need to meet “different categories” to obtain these CPE credits (such as Accounting, Auditing, Behavioral ethics, Business law, Personal development, etc.)?
