Do you think it is worth going for a diploma in IFRS oferred by ACCA as IFRS knowledge/certification will be important for any accounting job in future?

No, I do not think it is worth it given all of the convergence that is happening between US GAAP and IFRS–eventually, we'll either share the same standards or there will be minimal differences between the two. I don't see the point of the IFRS certificate; even if it was important, I wouldn't take it. I am done with certifications. 🙂
