I threw up at the testing center… quick advice

I was taking BEC. I was in the first testlet. I was not feeling well. So I tried to get through the last 6-7 questions. I then ended and took a break. I then stood in the bathroom looking at myself in the mirror. “Can I breathe in and out a few times and it will go away? Why the &%$#@ did I eat McDonald’s for Breakfast?” I finally made the decision to just go to the stall and hurl. I was on break for about 9 minutes. My testing center is not psycho about 5 minute time limits. But I learned something that I want to pass on.

If you feel sick, go in, throw up, rinse in the sink and hurry back. I almost spent a good half hour in a daze trying to supress tossing my cookies. But at the end of the day, I didn’t pay $250+ to sit int he bathroom and puke, I came here to pass the Exam.

By the way, I got a 75. I was complaining for the past 7 days that I deserved higher but then I just remembered that I had this episode in between testlet 1 and 2.

@bevan78 I have the same experience with BEC when I took my exam. I almost passed out in the prometric center and to make matters worst, the staff in prometric center was going back and forth thinking that I was doing something else. I am just happy to be done with it and get out of the place. I too ended up with a 75!

    BEC 2/8/10 - 75 (studied hard & prayed less)
REG 5/15/10 - 88 (studied less but prayed hard)
AUDITING 8/9/10 - 79 (studied hard and prayed hard)
FAR 11/30/10 - 79 (studied hard and prayed hard) Thanks GOD! I'm DONE

I've never heard of time limits on breaks either.. your time on the test keeps ticking.. so it's your loss for however long you take.

Prometrics cancelled my FAR exam on the last day of the testing window. I called to re-eschedule but they told me to contact the AZ CPA Board and get a new NTS. The board told me I had to pay again. Well, I sent a letter to them saying that was not my fault that the exam got cancelled. The process is open and I am waiting for a Board resolution. Any advices?
