I passed the exam in NJ in the last window!

I’m trying to figure out what is next, do I wait for one of these congratulations letters from the state or do I go ahead and download the documents from the NJ website and file the paperwork on my own?

Any NJ candidates with prior experience let me know, I appreciate it.

I would fill ou tthe paper work and send it in. It takes a while and depending on the number of jobs you've had its also very annoying to send them out and hope that they fill it out on time. I passed in March and i'm still waiting. They just kicked back one of my experience letters because it wasnt on letter head. Its so stupid because its signed, notarized and everything but its not on letter head that anyone could just create using google images. My roommate who passed took her almost 7 months to get everything finalized.

Every employer has to fill something out? Or just enough employers to meet the requirements? I'm in NY if that matters.

I'm in Texas, and I only put my last job on my work experience form because that was all I needed to satisfy the requirement. What sucked was that my supervisor had to list and describe every job he'd ever held in his statement that accompanied my work experience form. Completely stupid. I mean, he's a licensed CPA in this state. The state board already has his work history, his CPE history, his disciplinary history, his contact info, etc. If they were really concerned that maybe my form wasn't legit, they could've looked up his records in their own system and contacted him with any questions.

Thanks to all who responded thus far, looks like I will be downloading the paper work and trying to file on my own.

Any other candidates with a similar experience feel free to share, thanks!

WOW – so annoying and time consuming!! Yeah, I just called NY and they said only the last employer, which is good!
