So I just got out of AUD and I am concerned. First off, I felt like I knew almost every answer on the exam. It was harder to tell if testlets got harder because it really did seem like I knew every answer for except maybe 6 (I’m sure they got harder). I was well prepared for this test using Yaeger. The SIMs were a tad bit confusing but I believe fair. My 1 concern is I literally finished this exam in 2hrs 45 min and I went over questions multiple times. Has anyone went thru the exam so quickly and passed? It makes me feel like maybe I wasn’t reading the questions carefully enough. Any thoughts??

@ Haze – So there are 6 scoring catergorizes for the MCQ, correct? You scored weaker in 2, stronger in 3, and comparable in 1. If that is the case, then I would assume it was the sims that resulted in the failing grade. I had the similar report, but for BEC with 1 stonger, 4 comparable, and 1 weaker. I guess I did well enough on the WC because I passed. Same thing for FAR, 2 stonger, 2 weaker, and 1 comparable. The sims must have carried me to passing in both cases.

Not sure what the deal is with the new score report. I just wish they still had the numerical breakdown like last window.

@ whyeventry, I scored weaker in 1 area. Stronger on MCQ and Weaker on SIMS

@ Haze – WOW. I guess the new weight for the sims got you then. The 60 – 40 split puts a lot more wright on the sims. I guess it will be a lot harder for people to just rely on the MCQ and WC alone to get them the pass. Last window, the MCQ and WC were 80% of your grade and the sims 20%. Now a 60 – 40 split with no WC….yikes, and your score report proves it. No more of this “I didn't even finish my Sims and still passed” stuff I have heard in the past. Save extra time for those sims!! Sorry Haze, that has to be frustrating…I bet you would have taken home the prize under the old format.
