When I first started studying for the CPA exams, my motivation was high and my work ethic was strong. However, over the course of three exams already, my score has gotten progressively worse on each exam. My first test was a 98, then an 80, and then finally a 79. I’m not upset with the scores because the only thing that matters is passing; however, I am afraid that the reason may be due to my effort diminishing over the course of my CPA exam journey.
With that said, I am afraid REG will be a score lower than my 79, and that is cutting it way too close. I just started a full-time job (which could be another reason for my diminishing scores) and I have one more exam to take (January 2011). I need some advice as to how to get a good routine going, and find the motivation I had when I first began studying. I tried using the “you only have one more exam left” speech, but that isn’t working too well.
BEC - 79
FAR - 80
AUD - 98
REG - 1/15/11
