I have a degree in Accounting with 130 credits from a Regionally Accredited University but an additional 30 credits which are Nationally Accredited from AARTS, a faith-based national accreditation association based in New York, NY and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and United States Department of Education. The NASBA for NY told me that my board only accepts credits from a Regionally Accredited University/College. It seems crazy to me to have to take more courses when I already have over 150 credits in total-credits, all of which would be accepted in New Jersey, but I already signed up with the New York State Board. AARTS standards correspond to those of regional accreditors, but NASBA is insisting that the NY state board will not accept any of these additional 30 credits (10 more than I even need!). Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!
