Thanks for the article, it was very informative. I will take it with a grain of salt. Judging the testlets as to what level of difficulty is so subjective. If you are well prepared, then would it be as noticeable? Just a rhetorical question. I haven't been able to discern that well enough on my own.

Best of luck to you this window.

I took the exam on May 9 and I almost felt better about the SIMS compared to the MCQ, so I'm not sure what to think. The questions never appeared to get more difficult and my second testlet was fairly easy and the third seem only slightly more challenging.

The wait is the hardest part though

The change was most apparent to me with FAR. Generally, the 2nd and 3rd testlet questions were wordier, required more calculations, and/or were on topics that are typically considered the more difficult ones. This was true to a degree with REG and BEC, but the difference was not nearly as noticeable. I noticed little change in AUD. The focus was on topics that I considered more difficult but the questions weren't that much harder.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85
