I’m in Tennessee. Found out I passed part 4 (FAR) on 5/23/14. I immediately purchased the ethics exam, and passed it 2 days later. I sent the ethics scores to my state board and also sent an email with my results to the TN coordinator. The coordinator told me they received my ethics score, but had not received my exam scores yet.

Does anyone know how long this takes? I know it’s just been 3 weeks, but I’m not really sure what to expect. I’ve met all the education & experience requirements already. So, it should just be a formality at this point.

Any ideas?

Same situation for me, but for Ohio. Passed in May, sent the application in the next day. They sent me an email saying they received my application, but weren't expecting my NASBA file until the middle or end of June. That file should contain transcripts and whatnot that they state board needs to verify.

Ohio issues licenses on the 15th of the month, so if they don't get it tomorrow, I'm probably waiting another month. Nothing I can due but wait at this point.

I think I heard that NASBA states get the scores the end of the month after the window of the 4th passing score closes, which would be the end of June…but don't quote me on it!

While waiting on Florida to get my last score, I called them (impatient me, wants her certification). I was told it takes 5 to 6 weeks.

Now why in the world does it take that long???

Does anyone else have any insight on this? I emailed the Board and they suggested that NASBA should have my file to them by January. I called my NASBA coordinator, left a message (last week) and haven't heard back. I could just email her I guess but she's notoriously difficult to get ahold of, and I thought y'all might have stories you'd be willing to share. My application is in, ethics exam done – and now I'm just really impatient! 😉

Well it is weird because I receive the email from Florida saying I passed within about a week of the score release, but the online portal for Florida seems to update some time after the testing window ends. So I guess it depends on if you took it near the beginning or the end of the testing window. My audit pass is now on there so I guess Florida now has fourth quarter results. I would recommend people take their last exam near the end of a window if they don't want to wait too long.
