I live in CT, a state where 150 hours is required for license, but not to sit. When I applied to sit, I submitted all of my credits so far (145 according to my school’s calculations) and have since taken 6 more accounting credits needed to satisfy the 150 hour requirement. Here’s where I am confused:
Do I send the new transcripts to the same place I sent them when I applied to sit? Is there a way they can verify I have met the 150 credit requirement? I did write them and ask and of course they said I just submit those transcripts once I apply for the license, but that doesn’t make sense to me. What if I do that and then they tell me I am short or something? I don’t want to find that out 2 years later!
Another reason I want to know this is because my employer (whom I start for in October) has offered me a higher salary contingent upon me having the 150 credits.
Anyone else have this similar issue and any advice?
I am waiting on BEC and FAR and it is killing me 🙁 I feel terrible about both and can’t focus for AUD studying…
BEC: 79 - April 2011
FAR: 78 - May 2011
AUD: 81 - May 2012
REG: 79 - October 2012
Ethics: Passed - March 2013
I am finally DONE!
