Hi All,
I was just going through the certification committee meeting agenda for my state board (AZ) and I remembered that these are meetings are open to the public. I was just wondering if anyone has attended one of these, either if your application was going to be reviewed at that particular meeting or just attended one to see how they went about “approving” applications for licensing or to sit for the CPA exam. My board has it where applications have to go through staff approval of completeness, certification committee, and then finally the board. I know they post the minutes to these meetings after as well, but I was just curious if anyone has attended and had not been part of the committees or even if they requested to meet with you for any reason. My state board is a bit difficult to deal with resulting in me being OCD and anxious about getting my dang license number ASAP!

Blast it all, my application will be going to the next meeting at the end of May and not April 🙁
