I just passed my third part and have AUD left. The problem I am having is that I still need 12 credits in accounting to get licensed in Pennsylvania. I searched the forum and I found an online corporate tax class from Northern Alabama University that should count for 3 credits. Also, thinking about taking 3 credits from a community college in Accounting Information Systems.

For those who are getting or have their license in Pennsylvania, can you let me know where and which classes you took to satisfy the education requirements. It seems difficult to get the 36 credits in a hurry. I’ve taken Financial 1, Intermediate Financial 1 and 2, Managerial, Auditing, Individual taxation, corporate finance and business law already.

    Thanks

Have you looked into Lousiana State's classes? is.lsu.edu They're very quick (self-paced), but don't know if they would have any new topics for you if you're needing 36, cause that requires a lot of different topics!

Thanks Lilla for responding. Yes, I have checked out LSU and I didn't see anything I could take.

I called up the State Board of Pennsylvania and they gave me a vague answer. I emailed CPAexcel and again got a vague answer.

Can somebody here please confirm if Northern Alabama Prep Courses count toward the 36 credits in accounting? I can't tell if they mean that it only counts towards the 150 credit hours which I already have or if it also counts towards the 36 accounting credits for Pennsylvania. The reason I'm a bit weary is that the website clearly states that these courses do not count towards an accounting degree at the University of Northern Alabama. Also, I asked the state board of PA if I could pay and fill out a form to find out if certain course work would count and they said that they do not review anything until you apply for a license.

    Thanks
