Hello !
I read on the AICPA website that a general experience CPA license can be issued with the sign off from several managers (active CPAs) if you worked in a position for less than a year.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know if that experience can be obtained by working in the following:
1. One side of accounting in a privately held company (11 mos. under an active CPA)
2. One month (so far) at a CPA firm (audit)It may or may not be worth it to try and get a general accounting license first, because if I wait for the attestation license, it will put be back another year (28 yo rather than 27 yo). It’s probably more work than the return is worth though.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
