Hi everyone!
i passed my exam and am currently licensed in VA, since thats where i lived when i first applied to take the cpa. But now I live in GA. i work in industry (i was in public for 3 years before and dont plan on going back). I recently applied for a reciprocity license in ga and have found out that i am 6 accounting credit hours short :-(. Do you suggest i take online courses to meet the requirement? Is it worth it? I should mention that i don’t plan on living in GA for a long time (may have a few more years down here before i move). i basically got my CPA in order to compete in the job market more marketable. But i am kind of bummed that i wont be able to use the CPA title while im in ga. Has anyone else had this issue? If you do think its worth it to take online courses to meet the requirement can anyone suggest any online schools?…cheap ones preferably.
