Well, I can't say that your scores are fantastic, but they're not a death sentence either. When is your exam?

When I took the FAR final, my average MC testlet score was 58, and I managed to get a 78 on the real exam without even touching 2 tabs in my simulations. So..take that for what you will. I think those Becker scores are proof that you have the base of knowledge necessary to pass the exam. But I suggest you really hit your weak areas hard as much as possible before the real test.

Your results are similar to what I have on the first final. So I printed out all that I guessed on and any that were wrong so I can go over them to see what I did wrong. Then I too a progress test over all of the chapters as that breaks down the chapters and gives you a percentage. For those that I did really poorly on (2, 3, and 6) I will be reviewing the lectures, redoing all the MCQs including the supplementals AND will take another practice final this coming Saturday. I test on the 26th and according to the stickies I have up all over the house and at work I WILL PASS!

One thing to watch for….some of my wrong answers are because I did not read the question carefully.

Thank you both. I have already went through and made notes on the areas that I missed on the exam. “dhuffman”…..I probably had 3 questions, in which I would have gotten the correct answer if I had read the question slowly. Such as not realizing they were asking for a half-year, but I calculated it for the whole year.

I'm also going to go through all the MCQ's of each chapter this week and review (with quizzes) all weekend. I take my exam on Feb 23rd.

Good luck, South. With your exam scores where they are, plus having an extra week or two to review, you should be perfectly fine. Just don't get bogged down or overwhelmed. Take it one, single topic at a time, one question at a time, and you will destroy the FAR exam!

CPA2011plz…….Thanks a million….I appreciate the vote of confidence. You are right. I am going to destroy this exam. I am going to spend all this week and half of next going back through each chapter (1 per night) and review. And on exam day I will be ready.
