I have heard that the FAR exam (along with the others) is changing in 2011. I am taking my FAR exam (for the 2nd time) on the first week of January. Should I prepared for the additional information that might be on the exam, such as IFRS? Additionally, where can I find this information? I purchased by Becker materials at the very beginning of 2010, so obviously they don’t contain anything related to IFRS or any of the new stuff. What should I do? Thank you.

south- Becker has said that they will send 2011 materials do those who haven't passed the 2010 exam with no cost as long as their license agreement hasn't expire. I strongly suggest you change your current materials, there is just too much change from '10 to '11 in format and content for 2010 to do justice to you. Check Becker's website for more info.

Thanks “TheNeverEndingStory”. I went to the website and checked it out. For those of you who would like to know…….after November 1st, you can go on the Becker.com website and request new materials. They will send you a disk that will automatically update your software so that it includes everything you need for 2011. You will also get a PDF version of the textbook and, if you wish, you can get a hard copy of each of the books for $20 per book. (shipping and handling).
