I recently failed a section of the CPA and would like to give it another try in January. My current NTS expires in February. Do I need to re-register for a new NTS and pay the registration and section fees? Or will Nasba issue me a new section ID on the same NTS? I’d appreciate any help and insight on this matter that I can get! Thank you!

Yes you will need to re-register for a new NTS.
