Hi Guys,,,, Is it acceptable to verify my experience and submit it before I pass all four parts?. I am just afraid that my colleague who will verify my experience and who is the only CPA in my company may leave at any moment due the high demand for CPA’s. FYI, I am a candidate of Washington State

In Louisiana, the letter can be for 1 year of experience in any of the 4 years prior to the passing of the exam. I had my old boss write the letter for me while I still worked there then just mailed it in once I finished the exam. I don't think it matters that there is a gap.

AUD - Apr '12 - 76
FAR - Aug '12 - 79
BEC - Nov '12 - 74, Jan '13 - 82!!
REG - Feb 28, 2013 - 74, Apr 18th - 74, July 6th - 76!!

I called the state board and they confirmed that I can verify the experience anytime but can not submit it until I finish all four parts.

I am in the state of Illinois. The ILBOA website didn't say anything about employment experience so I called them. They then directed me to the IL dept of Financial & Professional Regulations. I called them and they said I had to have my employer fill out a VE form. Not sure if your state might be as complicated as mine but just giving the heads up. FOR ANY OTHER IL APPLICANTS is this what you had to do also? The form seems pretty generic and I am wondering if this is right.
