I do not work for a public accounting firm so my experience falls within the 5 year window for the accounting field. However, do I wait until that is satisified to apply to the board? How long will my exam credit stay on my record? In other words, will I have to retake the exam if I don’t have work experience complete within a certain time frame?n

Guideline… VT allows 15 yrs! after passing the exam to get the experience. I found it online at the state board of accountancy.n
