Hi everyone!

I’ve been looking at other postings where “ethics” portion of CPA exam is needed…. is that a different test? I was under the assumption that there were only 4 parts: AUD, REG, BEC, and FAR….

Please help!

There is an additional exam you have to take from the AICPA. You purchase it from them and I believe its all take home and you just send in your answers before you can get your actual CPA license. I hear its really not that bad. So I recommend not stressing over it, the other 4 are what you should be putting all your stress into.

Most people get high 90s on the ethics portion first try. Don't stress it. That's nothing to even think about until you pass the 4 sections.

Yeah the ethics test was super easy.

It only took me two hours to complete yesterday and half the time I was doing other random things on the internet.

It depends on what state you are in, in MA you are not required to pass an Ethics exam to receive a license but you are required to have ethics as part of your continuing ed to renew your license.
