I just passed my fourth section and I received my scores on the mail. But it doesn’t give me any information on the ethics exam. I’m licensing in Florida.

So my question is, where do I purchase the ethics exam?? how much is it?? Can I do it now or do I have to wait to get my packet?? I have heard Florida takes forever to send them!

    Thanks!n

FL has the “Florida Rules and Regulations” exam rather than the ethics exam. If you passed your last section in the October/November window, you should receive your licensure package sometime in January. That package will have all the info that you will need to get licensed. FL board is slow. It will be probably another 4 or 5 months before you will have your license.n

Oh, and the “Florida Rules and Regulations” exam is web based and open book. You will register for a user name on the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation website and proceed from there. All this info should be included in the licensure package that you will get. Not sure if there is any cost associated with it. Initial licensure will cost approximately 200 bucks. You will be required to pay a renewal fee when your first renewal deadline comes up, but you will not have to complete your CPE untill your second renewal. You no longer have to retake the “Rules and Regulations” exam to renew.n

Is there a way for me to take the rules and regulations exam while I wait on the package?? or is that something you need to do after you receive it??

    Thanks!n
