Contacted Florida today to see how long it takes to get my license application once they receive my score. Said 2-3 weeks, hopefully that is true. Totally forgot to ask about the ethics exam and I don’t feel like calling again, so I figure I’ll ask other Florida CPA’s or candiates.

Is the ethics exam required in Florida? On there website it doesn’t mention anything.n

On the second page of your mailed score report there should be a checklist at the bottom for things you need to do for your license. It mentions a rules and regulations quiz that you need 20/25 on to get your license. From what I've heard from other FL Candidates, sometimes you have to do it and sometimes you don't. I'm not really clear on it. I plan on waiting until I get my application packet and then figuring it out from there :Dn
