I just passed my first part of the CPA Exam and I’ve been thinking about taking the Ethics Exam just to get it out of the way.

Has anyone taken the Ethics exam before passing all 4 parts of the CPA Exam? The instructions from CT CPA board says you should pass all 4 parts of the exam first, but I don’t see why it would matter. Anyone take the Ethics Exam before finishing the 4 parts of the CPA exam?

I wish I could tell you…I have asked that questions before and I do not remember a response. Apparently no one has….

FAR - Attempt 1-(70)...Attempt 2 (Passed Baby)-Praise the Lord-Couldn't have done it without him.
AUD- Attempt 1-Passed!!!!!!!!! )-Praise the Lord-Couldn't have done it without him.
REG-Attempt 1-(73)...Attempt 2 (Passed Baby)-Praise the Lord-Couldn't have done it without him.
BEC-Attempt 1-(71)...Attempt 2 (Passed Baby)-Praise the Lord-Couldn't have done it without him.

I just took it yesterday and still have to pass FAR.

IL board says you can take it at any time…and in all honesty, it's mostly common sense, stuff you don't know you just look up in the AICPA Ethics Course…shouldn't matter or make it easier if you haven't taken all sections of CPA yet. I passed on the first try.

Some states require you to pass all four sections before taking ethics exam.

I would check with your state board.

How did you take the Ethic Exam? Is it an online test or something? Do I need to buy text book or anything to prepare for the exam? I am in VA, have just passed 4 parts of the CPA exam. Thank you in advance
