So my state requires that I purchase Professional Ethics: the AICPA’s Comprehensive Course and complete the exam through that.

The course is offered through CD or text.

Anyone else use this? Is there a difference between either format? Did anyone here find one better than the other?

Agreed with the CD- you won't need the book at all. The CD costs less to ship and all the material is on there.

I passed all the parts of the exam, now have to do the ethics exam. Is this part of the CD/text that I buy through the AICPA course? Or is that a study guide and the exam is separate?

Definitely get the CD. All files are in .pdf's so you can search for keywords. Should take 2 hours or so total to knock it out.

Only a couple hours to knock this out??? Awesome! I just received my CD and was going to see what everyone thought about how long it takes to review.

Anyone else concur? Can I knock out the Ethics exam in one day???

Hi All:

I ordered and took the AICPA Ethics course via the CD per the recommendation made on this site. It took about 3 days for the CD to arrive at my home. I was in a hurry to complete this, and worked until early in the AM on the day I received it. It takes about 5 hours to complete if you listen to the audio. Plus some of the answers were not immediately evident to me, and that caused me to seach the disk for the answers….I'm sure many candidates could complete it faster if you simply search for the answers.

In the end, it all worked out fine, in that I received a 100% on my first try. (I understand that you have 3 attempts to successfully complete with a score of 90% or more)

Yes and everything is supplied with the CD including directions on how to access the exam. Note you can print or open the exam to view the questions prior to listening to the CD searching through the materials.
