Ethics Exam and Expiring CPA Exam Credits?

Now that I have passed all four sections, I’m moving on to the ethics requirement. I have a section of the main CPA Exam (AUD) expiring 3/31/16. Do I need to pass the ethics exam and submit my paperwork before this date to avoid losing credit for Audit? I tend to think not but don’t want to chance it, especially considering the NASBA CPA Central site makes it look like that expiration date is still “real.” I will reach out to my state Board about this too but they can be slow in responding so thought I’d check here too. I live in Ohio if that matters. Thanks in advance!

No, you can take the ethics exam whenever you want. Once you pass all four parts they will no longer expire. I know so many people who wait months to take the exam because they are too lazy or just too busy. But honestly, just get it over with so you can get that license! Congrats!
