Hi ALL!

I have a questions regarding AICPA Ethics Exam.

I have just got a CD and it’s not working (of course). However, there is an EXAM .pdf on the CD with a bunch of other .pdfs.

Therefore, my questions are:

1. that EXAM .pdf – is that THE SAME EXACTLY EXAM as I will need to take online?

2. When I’m taking an online exam can I save and exit and come back later? Or should it be completed within 1 session?

Topsya, are you talking about the 4 hrs broad approved ethics course that we have to take and give the state board certificate along with the forms for the license. Actually I bought it from different parties which was approved from TX board and was cheaper and also in PDF, but don't have 40 questions. I am little confused here, Does it vary state to state?

Yes it does.

My state requires the AICPA Ethics Course. No other parties in-between.

Topsya, yes, that's the exam you need to pass and those are exact questions you need to answer. You should have an individual exam code somewhere on the exam file or on the CD. That code matches the questions on your cd with the q&a in the database when you submit your answers. So don't lose the code or the cd, or you'll have to buy a new one.

I'm not sure that you can ‘save' some answers and come back to it… this exam is open book and not really timed, so I just took a couple hours, went through each question, picked an answer, wrote it down on a separate piece of paper… then logged on the website to submit them, which took about 10 minutes with registration, and had my score of 98 and a certificate back immediately (you need 90+ to pass).

Hi, I also have a question about the online ethics exam.

I heard they said the web would “show the questions you missed”. My first try was 85%. I guess I missed six questions, while four is maximum for a pass.

However, I never found a place to show which questions I missed. Is it a rumor that they would tell which question you got wrong? Or could anybody help me to retrieve my first result? I have already started the second try already but not submitted yet!

AICPA Ethics Course took me 2-3 hours and I verified every answer in the book twice, and I scored 98% (39/40). Very easy!

Heeelllp!

I am trying to use the AICPA CD that I was send and like many before me it is not working! I am using Mozilla and I changed my settings. When it tries to load the videos I just get a black screen. I went to the AICPA's website and found where I can test my system compatibility and it said I don't have Adobe Flash, but I do! I even downloaded and installed it again. However, it is flash 14 and the website metiones flash 10/11 or higher. Do you think I just have too new of flash? I was able to find the exam pdf in the files but nothing else that was helpful (study guide etc).

*ripping my hair out over here* How have any of you worked around this problem?

I would try using internet explorer if you can. Mozilla is great, but some websites just won't work with it.

I tried IE first and couldn't even get the module to run in the first place 🙁 Some old old forum posts mentioned they used firefox which is why I tried it.

Yes, it can. I believe you can take it up to three times. If you fail it three times, you will have to pay again to retake it…
