MCQ – I think 40 on the AICPA test… 50 on the one that Californians have to take. It takes a while to get through.

It took me hours to get through the CA Ethics. I fortunately walked away with a pass on my 1st attempt.

i'm working on IL ethics right now. it's not horrible, 40 mcq, approx 1 lecture similar to 1 day at Becker. some questions are somewhat picky, some are common sense, some require looking up. but it's open book so you take your time and find the answers, mark hard questions to come back to, etc. i hope this strategy works.

After took all four sections of CPA exams, I am working on Ethics exam now. Although it is open book, I feel I am running out of steam from previous exams. It is still a lot of reading and research and so on… Can't wait to get over of the exam this weekend.
