Does anyone have a ballpark time requirement for the Ethic Exam (both the test and suggested study time)? I just ordered it and was hoping to be able to finish it quickly. Is it something that can be done in a day or should I allot a week or two to study the material? Is it open-book? How long do they give you to take the exam once you begin the exam?

    Thanks!n

    Wein8,

When you say it took you 2-4 are you referring to the test alone or the entire ethics section (reading, review, and exam)?

I didn't review or read anything. I opened the CD and had the test opened in PDF. I went through the lectures in order and realized that the questions were in the order of the lectures. I skipped over parts that weren't on the exam and simply searched for the answers. You can do it however you want, but I think you should be able to get it done in an afternoon or morning. If you are wanting to go through everything, then I'm sure it will probably take you longer.

Most of the questions are pretty obvious and you should be able to recall the answers from coursework or CPA exams. I wouldn't worry about it b/c it is open note and nonstressful.

I took the ethics exam earlier this morning and it was a total breeze. I ordered the CD course, which is basically just a bunch of interactive powerpoint slides. I think there is some voice-over or narration, but I didn't have my headphones so I'm not exactly sure.

I'd give the exam about two hours and you should pass with flying colors. Just open the test and read at the same time. Now the eternal wait for REG scores to post…
