I obviously get frazzled when taking the CPA exam, because I don’t remember if the authoritative literature available to you on the research tab, is available while going through the rest of the questions? If you can use that at other parts of the exam and I haven’t been I will be really pissed at myself. Just scheduled round 3 for May 14th at 1PM. Time to studyyy

I feel that the Wiley 2011 book is great because it outlines all of the literature at the back of the book so that if you've gone through it enough it provides a great summary. Next time around I will definately use that to my advantage. The audit guidance is much more plain english that the tax rules & regulations.

I am going to start a list of things that I think have resulted in my failures and read them over right before I go into the test. So far I have two…

1) Slow down. Stop leaving with over an hour left on the exam.

2) What is the question asking. Forget the accounting. What is the “call” of the question. All four answers could be correct. But which is right for this question is the key.
