Hey everybody I was just curious to know if CPA exam scores ever expire in the state of Tennessee? From what I have researched the answers seems to be that they never expire. I could be wrong though. Appreciate and advice.

Exams expire in every state after 18 months IF you have not passed all tests within that 18 month stretch.

I assume you mean after passing all 4 exams. I looked at the Tennessee code (Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-1-106) and there is nothing addressing the scores expiring after all have been passed. They are good at responding to questions, call them at 1-615-741-2550.

REG - 50, 64, 73, 76
FAR - 67, 65, 67 Ugh!!!

Basically I have worked for 3 CPAs part time and have accumulated 1800 hours over 2 years and need to get to 2000 hours. Very frustrating!!!! Someone please give me reassurance I can obtain 200 hours working under a CPA within the next 8 years….

This makes me want to pull my hair out. Like can you not take extra CPE after 10 years to make up for not having opportunities to work under CPAs?

I think it was clear enough:
“GOOD UP TO 10 YEARS FROM THE DATE THE EXAM WAS COMPLETED”

After completing all FOUR parts, you have 10 years to keep them should you defer the CPA license application.
