I just took REG for the second time and I have no idea what to think. I did feel better about the MC than I did the first time I took it but not sure about the simulations.

That being said, my testlets did not seem to get harder as I went on. I’ve read on here that it’s a good sign if they do get harder. So is that definitely a bad sign for me if they did not get harder? Could it possibly be that I just knew the material better on the stuff that was asked in the 2nd and 3rd testlet? How do you really know if they are harder or not?

Any feedback would be appreciated! If my MC were considered easy and it means that I had to do significantly better on the simulations, then I’m probably in trouble!

According to what I read on the AICPA site, there are easy, medium, and difficult questions on both the medium and difficult testlets with each question being weighted accordingly. However, the testlets overall average out to a medium or difficult level. I think that whether or not it appears difficult depends on your strong areas and some element of luck as to which testlet you get. When I took FAR, it was obvious that the last two testlets were harder than the first one. When, I took AUD, the testlets just seemed to focus on different areas without getting more difficult, but I had no doubt about my answers to 28 of the first testlet and 24 of the second so I have to think that the last two testlets were considered difficult by the AICPA even though they didn't seem that hard to me. The first two questions on the first REG testlet were completely out of left field. All three of those testlets seemed difficult to me even though I felt very well prepared going into the exam. I'll find out what BEC is like on 5/13. I'm doing all the tests this window so these impressions are based on the current exam. You may have just lucked out with the MCQ on REG this time.
