Good morning!

I’m a newbie in the forum and I have a pretty basic (i think) question regarding the expiration of the cpa credit.

I have my BEC expiring April 3, 2011, Does that mean that I can take the last part of the CPA exams on April 2, 2011 and my credit won’t be affected. Im not planning on doing this, but this is just my “back up” in case I fail the last part in the 4th window of 2010.

When do they actually based the date of the credit? is it based on the exam date?

Yes. I took and passed AUD on July 9 when REG expired on July 10th. All that counts is crossing the finish line in the 18th month time frame.

I still have a permanent smile on my face. I did not smile or laugh much in the last two years. I am now making up for lost time. I am taking my 14 prayer warriors out to eat Friday night. My wife and I also went to Branson, MO the day that I found out that I passed my last exam.

I enjoyed the challenge of studying for the CPA exams, but enough is enough. I will now become certified in Quickbooks so that I can offer bookkeeping and tax preparation to new clients.

contact your state board. I called here in IL because i wanted to know also. My reg expires on 10/17/11 and the nice lady told me as that i can take my test as late as 10/17/11 and will not lose my reg credit. Although she advised me not to wait until the last day! LOL, I told her i wasn't i was just curious, just in case I have to keep going until then….JESUS please no!! I want to be done this year.

I just need to know that my backup plan is ok… Im hoping that I dont need to do that coz I really dont want to be studying during the holidays and during the busy season!
