Those of you who are familiar with earning CPE hours, how are the self study exams structured? All multiple choice? time limit? Number of times you can take it? and the time required to prepare for an exam. Are they typically really easy to prepare for?

There are multiple sources of CPE hours so the answer will depend on what and who you are using. I received some of my credits for having attended a seminar that had a short quiz at the end. I got some of my CPE credits by doing the quickbooks proadvisor training. Those were multiple choice, not timed, and 5 attempts per test. Got some from CPEthink.com also multiple choice, not timed but unlimited attempts.
