I put my application form with the ethics cert in the mail last week 11/25, Tuesday. Today 12/1, I called the board to check to see if they have received it and to see if I needed to do anything else or submit any other papers. They told me they were closed last week Wed, Thu and Fri for the holiday so they haven’t received the mails and that the mail wouldn’t come til 4pm today (Monday). To make it worst, I was told the board meeting is tomorrow so if they dont get it today, my application wont be reviewed til January since they only do it once a month! I called them again around 4:30pm to see if it came it. They told me no and I was asked to call tomorrow morning. The meeting is at 9am. I dont think mails come earlier than that. So frustrating. Has this happened to anybody? I have always thought mailing system here is reliable. Mails were still getting delivered Wed, Fri and Sat and today so I dont get how they dont have it yet and will make me wait another month and a half. Sigh….

Hi Mel! I received an email today approving my application! I was surprised because they told me My application didn't make it to the board meeting for December and that I had to wait until January. Thank you for the link! I was wondering if I would get an actual certificate or license and I got my answer from the link. I registered today with the registration # they gave and my computer acted up while processing the payment so not sure if my payment went through. When I tried to redo it, it told me I already have a license on file. I guess I'll find out in a day or two when they email me my license if the registration went through.
