Hi everyone, I just got a quick general question about getting the CPA’s license.

I understand this may vary depending on the states, but how long does it usually take to get a license or become full-licensed after completing the working experience requirements and signed by a qualified accountant?

I am from New Hampshire State btw.

    Thanks!

After everything was submitted…about five weeks and I got my license card in Ohio.

    FAR - 66, 77
    AUD - 63, 76
    BEC - 70, 83
    REG - 72, 79

Like everything else it depends on the state process. It took 11 days from the day I mailed my application in my state (IN) until I had my license number received in an email. However, that is all I got from my state. Indiana is cheap, I received no certificate, no license card or anything else other than the email and eventually a letter in the mail saying the same thing as the email. To get a certificate or license card, I had to pay to receive one. Some states take months other not so much. So you will have to find someone from New Hampshire to get a guide or call your state board of accountancy and they might be able to give you an estimate. Good Luck on your FAR rematch.
