I sat in Florida last window for my last part. I received my passing score a few weeks ago. Excitedly, I filled out the application and the work experience forms, and mailed them in. I logged in to check the status of my application only to find out that according to the Florida Board of Accountancy they have not received my score.

Has this happened to anyone else? How long does it take before Florida will receive my last score and grant me my license?

Same situation here in Ohio. I turned around everything in one week…very excited.

I was told, by the person answering the board phones, once you pass the exam you're no longer a priority. Also, I was told the scores are sent by mail and are hardcopies…

    FAR - 66, 77
    AUD - 63, 76
    BEC - 70, 83
    REG - 72, 79

I sat for my exams in Florida and never had much of a delay in seeing the scores posted (2 weeks maximum). I found out I passed my last two parts in March but didn't apply for the license until recently. Once they received my application, it only took 2 business days to approve so the good news is once they get your sores posted the process is quick!

    BEC 11/2009 87
    AUD 10/2010 75
    REG 11/2010 73, 2/2011 80
    FAR 02/2011 85
Licensed FL CPA as of 10/5/2011 Yay!!!

I also sat in Florida and am trying to apply for licensure after receving my passing scores. I am concerned though because Prometric put the incorrect testing center on my confirmation of attendance for my REG exam. As a result, when I check my status on the Fl. Dept. of Professional Business Regulation, it says I have passed all the sections except for REG (not listed at all). On the NASBA site where I put in my NTS and birthdate, I can get all 4 scores. I also got the email for REG confirming the score.

I passed them all in the July/Aug testing window so I figured they should all be there at the same time. I definitely don't plan on having to take it over because of their mistake but I'm not really sure what to do… Anyone have any advice?

Yeah, it's not clear what to do. Many candidates seem to think they have to wait for a CPAES congratulatory letter, which is supposed to get mailed out in mid-Nov if you finished the CPA this past August. After I read what Jeff wrote in his 50 things about the CPA exam pdf, I found out you don't have to wait but rather you should contact the state board immediately after you get your last passing score to see if you can send in an application and get the ball rolling, etc.

The thing is that the ONLY official CONFIRMATION I have that I am done with the CPA exam is the email with the subject “Score Notification Service” from nasba.org email address where there is a PDF attached and “CREDIT” listed 4 times on it (and nothing expired). You have to wonder if the state in which you're applying for licensure has access to this and whether this is sufficient for them to allow you to send in the application, is it?
