Ok, I just found out that some people aren’t reading the CPA prep books, is this true for others?

Are you just viewing the lectures, doing MCQ, and taking notes and reviewing?

Are you still passing without reading them?

Any insight would be appreciated.

It depends on the review material. For AUD with Becker I didn't find the book overly helpful. I read through it once but didn't absorb much of it. I then went to the class and watched the lecture. After that it is do the MC questions over and over until my eyes bled. I got a 94 doing that. REG was a little different. The book was more useful. I still don't have my REG score, so I can't say if that strategy worked or not. I take BEC in an hour or so.
