So I just recently went through the licensing process in the state of Florida. I received my license last week (3×5 piece of paper) and a generic letter from the Florida Department of Regulation congratulating me for having a generic license in Florida. Should I be expecting some kind of frameable certificate? What about some kinda package explaining the state’s CPE requirements, etc?

From what I've heard, Florida doesn't issue a certificate or a fancy congrats letter. Maybe it's their way of give and take … We don't make you take the ethics exam … You don't get a fancy certificate. I could be wrong though … Just what I've heard. And it's not a generic license. It's a freaking CPA license!!! And I don't think they sent a CPE packet … You've gotta do the research in your own … But it should be pretty easy to find.

Depends on the state. In MA you can buy the fancy wall certificate but you don't get one otherwise.
