I can’t seem to find much information about CPE requirements. My state’s website says “CPAs licensed to practice by the State of Michigan must earn 40 hours of CPE each CPE period (July 1-June 30).” My question is that does this requirement begin the same year that you receive your license or the year after? For example, if I receive my license in May of this year would I only have until July 1 to complete 40 CPE hours?
