I was hoping to get some help regarding the application process for Colorado. I am currently waiting to find out if I passed my last section (AUD). I took the test on May 30th. I figured out today, after July 1st my education will not meet the necessary requirements.

Does anyone know the process for getting the ethics exam for Colorado? How long does it take?

If I passed I need to get my application in before the end of the month. I am trying to decide if I should start the process now or wait until Tuesday. I don’t want to jinx myself.

If I didn’t pass you will find me under a rock sobbing…

What ethics course are you guys referring to? There's one that's required for licensure, which you can do online through the AICPA and it's $156 (https://www.cpa2biz.com/AST/Main/CPA2BIZ_Primary/Ethics/PRDOVR~PC-732302/PC-732302.jsp); then there's a second ethics course required within a few months AFTER licensure. Is that the one you're talking about? Funny if we all end up in the same class.

Good luck to you, too, @mchris (and tcheney and mountain man)!

I submitted my application on the 10th and got an email on the 17th (yesterday) saying my initial review was completed. There were 2 forms I needed to fix, but other than that, there were no issues. Hopefully the final review goes off without a problem. They are working hard to get all these apps closed by 7/1, because even if you submitted your application by the 6/15 deadline, you still have to be licensed by 7/1 to not have to have 150 hours.

I don't think either of those offer an ethics class. Metro is just over a $1,000. Unfortunately, I don't think you will find it anywhere for less than $1,000. Fortunately for me my employer reimburses up to $2,500.
