Now that I have passed the exams, I am seeking licensure in Colorado. Colorado has an education requirement for 3 hours of Accounting Ethics as follows: “The 27 hours required above must also include a 3 semester hour, or more, course concentrating on accounting or business ethics. The course content should include the following: the ethical responsibilities of accountants, both personal and professional; ethical dilemmas facing accountants; ethical theory; the various accounting codes of conduct and ethical guidance for accountants; and the application of ethical theory, codes of conduct, and professional standards. Courses focusing on general or business ethics will not be counted toward this requirement.”

I took regular business law in 2003. Has anyone gotten the requirement satisfied with Bus Law in CO or other similar states? I’m not sure the course referenced above even existed back then.

What courses are available (preferably online) that satisfy this requirement?

Don't know the CO rules, but I do not think Business Law will meet the standard.
I took an auditing class in 2001/2002 right after the Enron scandal that more or less was an Ethics focused class.
If you've taken any audit classes I might pop the course code into google to see if the course description mentions anything along the lines of ethics.
