    Hi all,

this question might have been asked before but I am wondering if anybody knows what’s the cheapest way to fullfill the 150 credit requirement. I have 131 currently so need 19 more credits. I don’t care about what kinda of classes they are just need them to be accepted by the AICPA. I guess they would have to be regional accredation? Not sure how that works. Anyway does anybody know of a website or online college that I can utilize to meet this requirement?

    Thanks in advance

    |AUD| - 73, 76
    |REG| - 76
    |BEC| - 73, 82

    ALL DONE!!

LSU Online Courses are great – self-paced, not too hard, and cheap.

UCLA distance learning has some decent options as well.

I did local community college stuff and TESC…took classes at three schools simultaneously. TESC is a bit more money, but they had some courses that the others didn't offer.

I went cheap as possible and ended up not getting anything for it (by which I mean a Masters). That was foolish. I wish I'd spent a little more, took an extra class or 4 and gotten a grad degree. I think it's going to matter less now that I'm licensed, but it really hurt me before that…and knocked me out of contention for Government jobs that I was qualified for.

What is the cheapest and quickest way to get the 30 Accounting hours required? I already have Finance degree and mba but only 15 Acct hours. CLEP or CC isn't going to help there. I'm leaning towards the U of N. Alabama online program – costs $585 per 3 hour course. Are there any better options out there?

@lupisss where the FEMA credits accepted by CA board? I would like to know what courses you took and the price you paid and how much time it took to complete.

@Melonbread It is very lucky to see your post here since I am going to apply for WA license. I still have about 9~10 accounting credits (at least 3 of them need to be related to upper-level accounting)to go, and really want to have them ASAP due to my promotion. Is https://em-study.com/emsfema/ the FEMA that you mentioned above?

What's more? It is 2019 now, I wonder WA would change their acceptances toward fast credit courses. Did you consult to the WA board before taking the FEMA courses?
