There is currently an opening for a Credit Analyst position at one of the larger banks where I live.

My question to anyone with knowledge of banking is, would this position be a good route for a future CPA to go? I currently work in public accounting and have completed my experience requirement so that is no longer an issue.

I am only considering applying for the position at this point.
