This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know if there is a requirement that you have to pass all four sections before doing your AICPA ethics exam? I’m sitting here waiting for my last two scores from this window and I’m wondering if I should just go ahead and use the time to buy and then do the ethics exam.n

Yeah, I'd like to know the answer too! I took the ethics exam already – before I even had the scores for my last two sections. I was bored. I'll let you know what happens.n

If your state requires you to take the AICPA ethics exam, then yes…there is no pre-req to take the AICPA course, so you can order it and pass it at any time.

Not sure about Texas they make all candidates take a college state board approved class but I also saw this: Board-approved Ethics Courses (for licensees) on the website……..so I think it is required as CPEn
