Has anyone applied for California CPA License from out-of-state?
According to California CPA Licensing Handbook, it says the following:“Hard Copy Fingerprint Cards (Non-California Residents)
…..
Due to the time required to process hard copy fingerprint cards, applicants outside of California are encouraged to submit completed fingerprint cards at least four months prior to submission of the application for licensure.”4 months really? I am currently residing in Colorado (moved here after passing all the exams at California and got a job offer). I am considering flying out to California just for a day to get this fingerprinting done if it really takes around 4 months to process my fingerprints if I send them in from Colorado… Anyone w/ real life experience? Please let me know.
