    Hi All,

I am trying to get my supervisor to sign off the experience form for my CPA license in California. what exactly do I need to do for the form? I am looking at the Certificate of General Experience for Non-Public Accounting PDF file on http://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/forms. On the form, it appears to require two supervisors signatures. Does both signers need to be active CPA? Could anyone shed some light on this issue? I want to find out little bit more information before I call the CBA.

Based on my research, I know the followings:

-The form have to be mailed directly by the CPA supervisor

    – general license could be convert to the attest license when the audit hours are met in the future

-one year of general accounting experience

    Am i misisng anything esle?

    Thanks,

I had my boss, a CPA sign off and then the 2nd signature was our COO, not a CPA. My application hasn't been approved yet, but that was how I interpreted it. You have the CPA who is supervising your work and then a higher, executive/owner as the 2nd signature. You might provide them an envelope addressed to CBA for mailing to make putting it in the mail easier for them.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.
