    Hello,

I filed my 2011 taxes on time but was unable to pay the $900 I owed at that time for federal. I was advised to file on time and send in a check for at least $50 towards the balance and I would receive a letter on how to set up a payment plan. I have been making on time monthly payments of $55 and have a balance of $180.

If I manage to pass my last exam in November, will this hinder me from qualifying for my license? Thanks so much!

As long as you are in an installment agreement with the IRS, which it sounds like you are, you should be ok. Check with your state to be sure though.

Hi LolaJessica, From my understanding as long as you have filed your taxes you are good, but please take the time to read the licensing handbook. It will state the specifics there.
