They sent me a notice just last week saying they received all the required docs for my application and will have the results of my application review within 4-6 weeks. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive word yesterday in the mail that my application will be approved pending receipt of the initial license fee ($120). And even better, I convinced my boss to let me reimburse the fee!

Some of my friends got their licenses about 3 weeks after they applied.

FAR: 81 (May 2013)
BEC: 81 (July 2013)
REG: 83 (August 2013)
AUD: 82 (November 2013)

@Charlie213 – how on earth do you know when the last one was issued??? My application check has not been cashed nor have I received my proof of mailing back. 🙁

Dodgerdawg, it took about 3 months from when I mailed in my license application to when I got the wall certificate.

And the wall certificate is wrinkled. It came in a cardboard mailing tube but still wrinkled. I got it nicely framed. Still wrinkled but it does look nice in the frame.
